Memory Care Assisted Living
Town Square, a secure memory care assisted living community at Cedar Lake Village, is for individuals who are living with irreversible dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. It is a residential household that has been specifically designed for those who can benefit from memory support.
Seniors 55 and older have the opportunity to live in a home similar to what they may live in now. Our intimate, supportive household offers shared spaces and individual private rooms with full bathrooms. Most importantly, each person is surrounded by and cared for by staff members and neighbors who understand each other’s daily joys and challenges of living with dementia.
Three key components that have been intentionally incorporated include trained staff, programming and environment. Extensive research and planning has been incorporated into the design of Town Square, however, it’s really about the people who make up the community – residents, family and staff – who bring it to life and make it home.
Trained Staff
Dedicated and attentive staff members strive to enrich each resident’s life by understanding their journey – past, present and future.
Programming
Programs are tailored to match each individual’s interests, abilities and ever-changing needs. Recognizing the importance of living life to the fullest means keeping residents’ active and engaged.
Environment
Our small, intimate supportive household contains shared spaces and individual private rooms with full bathrooms, surrounded by others who understand them.
Town Square memory care units are comfortable and home-like. Each room includes a private bath and furnished wardrobe. Each household offers a living room, kitchen, dining room, four seasons room, life skill stations, community laundry room and a shared sensory garden. The Town Square features a chapel, hair salon, ice cream parlor, spa, and a private dining room.
