Imagine the joy of getting on the bus to go with your friends to the theatre or out for dinner, of being able to go to the beauty shop without having to go out in the ice and snow, or having a chaplain on site to share your joys and burdens.

These are all examples of steps our donors have taken to fulfill the Good Samaritan Society’s vision to create an environment where people are loved, valued and at peace. Interested in volunteering?

There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer at Cedar Lake Village.  Here are just a few:  socialize by scooping ice-cream or usher at our Sunday Worship Service. You may want to read or lead exercises in our Memory Care Assisted Living, play piano for daily devotions in our Chapel or share your artistic talent with like-minded residents!  The possibilities are endless!  Visit with our Volunteer Coordinator to find your much needed and appreciated niche at CLV.  To learn more about volunteering, please call (913) 780-9916.
