Respite Care

Even the most devoted caregiver may find times when they’ll need to spend some time away from their loved one. You can be sure your loved one will receive outstanding 24-hour care and comfort with Cedar Lake Village Respite Care. All services and amenities that apply to our full-time assisted living and memory care residents also extend to our respite care residents.  Cedar Lake Village offers respite care in both the assisted living neighborhood and the memory care assisted living household.

Respite care provides a short-term stay in a loving, home-like environment for those individuals who require assistance or supervision that would normally be provided by family members at home. Charges for respite services vary based on level of care provided.  Respite apartment availability is limited, call us at (913) 780-9916 for information on openings.

Adult Day Services

The adult day services program at Cedar Lake Village is designed to help adults remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Adult day services provide a needed respite that enables caregivers to work or pursue other daytime activities.  Cedar Lake Village offers adult day services in both our assisted living setting and memory care assisted living households for those needing memory supportive activities and services.

The program is designed to provide individuals with access to a full range of activities and socialization. Participants may include those who require assistance overcoming the isolation associated with limited opportunities for social interaction with peers, those with physical challenges who would benefit from increased wellness and exercise programs, and persons who would like to engage with their community to live life to the fullest.

Charges vary based on level of care and hours of care needed. Regular hours for adult day services are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed on holidays.
